This is my season…the fall semester is the busiest time of the year for me, so instead of trying to do everything or to be some kind of super woman, I get help.
And right now the biggest help of all?
Dinner.
Now as I mentioned, this is just my season and I am trying to avoid pizza delivery or the drive-thru.
And this is mainly for my husband. My kids are pretty easy and eat the same things most of the time.
But the hubs would like a hot meal after standing up in the barbershop all day.
I don’t blame him and I’m happy to provide.
But I just don’t cook dinner anymore.
My mom told me about this delivery service called Freshly that I have been using recently. I also will order meals from a local caterer on occasion.
I know there are other delivery services that send you all the ingredients…but you still have to make dinner. See, that’s the issue–you know I can order groceries online in a heartbeat so I don’t need help getting the ingredients into my house. I need help with the preparation. 🙂
So if you are looking for a healthy, mostly clean option without resorting to TV dinners or fast food, check out Freshly. This is my referral link where you can save $20 on your first order.
But heads up–this is a weekly subscription service (I didn’t realize that when I first signed up. Ha.). But. The good news is that you can skip weeks or even cancel altogether with no penalty.
And the meals come fresh in an insulated package so you refrigerate immediately. And then you just microwave for a few minutes when you are ready to eat.
It has been a lifesaver on those late evenings with Tony comes home starving.
Just an idea if you need help with dinners at night–and like I said, they are great to have on hand in a pinch (you don’t have to stop cooking dinner altogether. Ha.).
Let me know if you try it!
Warmly,
Stephanie
